While she was born Joan Alexandra Molinsky, we all know her as Joan Rivers.
She was born June 8, 1933, and is best known for, of course, her flair for being funny. She takes comedy to the extreme, even going so far as to make her husband’s suicide into a hilarity only shortly after the incident, to the detriment of her relationship with her only child.
Joan is all about admitting and recommending plastic surgery to anyone who will listen, saying things like “One day you’ll wake up and realize that you’re 40, and think ‘this just won’t do’ .”
All the while she’ll make you laugh
hysterically, but she’s nothing if not serious about taking charge of
how you look. If you don’t like what you see, change it. “My motto is ‘better a new face coming out of an old car than an old face coming out of a new car’. Spend your money on you.“
Joan Rivers Before and After?
Joan may have been in the camera lens for
nearly a half a century, but you’re not likely to find many pictures of
her before having any procedures done. She absolutely detests the way
she looked when she was younger and has tried very hard to leave it
behind her.
At nearly 80, Joan does not have a single detectable wrinkle on her
face, and if she did, you’d better believe she would make quick work
making it go away as soon as possible. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree with Joan’s daughter Melissa Rivers (see Melissa Rivers’ plastic surgery), as her daughter also openly admits to the use of Botox as well as a bit of help with her breasts. Similarly, Heidi Montag has been more than open about her experiences with celeb plastic surgery.
Joan & Melissa Rivers Talk Cosmetic Surgery
In any case, Joan fantasizes about living until the year 3003 at least, and if that’s the case, she is going to need quite a few more tucks and lifts before we see the last of Joan Rivers or hear the end of how bad plastic surgery is.
